The 34th Anniversary of California Coastal/Inland Waterways Cleanup Day is Saturday, September 15, 2018 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
During last year's Cleanup, volunteers were up 21% from 2016 with a total of 3,293 volunteers in attendance who removed over 13,000 pounds of trash and recyclables from 34 miles of Ventura County beaches and inland waterways. In Camarillo, 230 volunteers collected 638 pounds of debris from two sites - the barranca off Mission Oaks Park
, and Calleguas Creek at Paseo Del Campo and Creekside
