Reopening Camarillo

Ventura County has established specific actions businesses must take before they reopen. Go to vcemergency.com/vc-reopens to begin the business reopening process. All businesses that are open are required to complete this process. Any business owners without internet access who wish to self-certify, or those with questions relating to the reopening process, please call the COVID Line: 844-VC-OPENS and select option 5.

Following your attestation, you should be prepared to receive a site visit in the coming days to confirm that you are  complying with the social distancing protocols that apply to your business type. However, you may open your business prior to the site visit if you complete your self-attestation.

Please review our Shop Safe reopening guidance for retailers for a description of the reopening process and checklist of necessary items

After reopening in alignment with the County and States orders, please let us know you are open for business and we will share your information on our Open for Business webpage.

If your business is in need of financial assistance or advising, please see the City's Employer and Employee Resources Page.

Tips on the process:

To review specific industry guidance, please start the process to self-attest (#6) on vcreopen.com. The first step of self-attestation will be selecting your industry. The second step will have a link at the bottom of the form where you can find guidance to your industry.

A Prevention Plan is one of the requirements for each business. To find a Prevention Plan Template, there are now templates available for multiple industries on vcreopen.com.

To comply, you will need at minimum the following signage:

Please download and print for use at your business, however if your company has branded signage that gets the same message across, that may be appropriate to use.

To comply with the process, you may have additional signage and PPE needs. We've built this list of local companies that offer PPE and printing services for curbside parking, posters, or floor decals:
