Cal Lutheran University (CLU) - Curriculum in business, entrepreneurship, and more. Visit CLU if you are looking for employable talent. CLU’s School of Management presents inspiring entrepreneurial events throughout the school year that are open to the public.
Camarillo Chamber of Commerce - Networking, events, and committees. Attend a Chamber event to learn about the community while promoting your products or services to a local market.
CSU Channel Islands - Curriculum in business, entrepreneurship, mechatronics, and more. If you are looking for employable talent, reach out to the Career Services Department to connect with potential interns or employees. They also organize an annual Career Fair.
Economic Development Collaborative (EDC) - The EDC supports economic development through the curation of government and local resources, and through advising and loan programs for business owners. Also, if you are shooting a film in Ventura County they have various resources and advising.
Fathomwerx - A tech transfer makerspace in Port Hueneme that began through a collaboration between the EDC, Matter Labs and the Navy, with a 3D metal printer, CNC machine, drone cage and underwater testing area.
Hub101 - CLU's coworking space in Westlake featuring entrepreneurial events and networking opportunities. Hub101 also helps organize events throughout the community.
Matter Labs - Supporting local entrepreneurship through advising and events, Matter Labs is a California based think tank, startup studio, and consulting firm specializing in emerging tech. Reach out to them if you need help working on a world-changing idea.

Martin V. Smith School of Business (MVS) - The Martin V. Smith School of Business at CSU Channel Islands offers Graduate level programs with a focus in Business and Biotechnology. They also present a series of inspiring talks throughout the school year. Their Entrepreneur and Small Business Institute (ESBI) has courses in consulting, which offer student advisers to help local businesses.
RC Makes - A Ranch Campana High Makerspace featuring tools for woodworking, metalworking, 3D printing, laser cutting, industrial sewing and more. The makerspace is open to the public most Saturdays and can be commissioned to complete various activities.
Russell Fischer Business Collection (RFBC) - Camarillo Public Library's Business Collection featuring databases for research, online learning, thousands of books, and events that are free and open to the public.
SCORE - A volunteer group of professionals supported by the SBA that provide free advising to small businesses, and present free and paid workshops for your business education.
Small Business Development Center (SBDC) - SBDC's are funded by the government and offer exceptional advising in multiple areas of business at no additional cost to you. If you have questions and would like to speak to an expert in a topic, see if the SBDC has an adviser that can help you.
